iXCells Biotechnologies provides high quality Rat Pulmonary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells (RPASMC), which are isolated from adult rat pulmonary artery, and cryopreserved at P1, with >0.5 million cells in each vial. RPASMC are positive for smooth muscle cell specific alpha-actin expression and they are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. RPASMC can further expand for 10 population doublings in Rat Smooth Muscle Cell Growth Medium (Cat# MD-0068) under the condition suggested by iXCells Biotechnologies.
