Stellate Cell Growth Medium is designed to promote stellate cell proliferation in culture. This medium kit consists of Stellate Cell Basal Medium (Cat# MD-0014B), 50 mL of Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS, Cat# MD-0094), 1 mL of Stellate Cell Growth Supplement (Cat# MD-0014S), and 5 mL of Antibiotic – Antimycotic (100X) (Cat# MD-0095).

Bioassay:	Each lot was tested for the ability to promote proliferation of stellate cells in culture
Sterility test:	Negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma
Storage & stability:	Store the basal medium in 4^oC and the Fetal Bovine Serum, Growth Supplement and Antibiotic- Antimycotic at -20^oC. Protect from light.
Instructions for Use:	Thaw Fetal Bovine Serum, Growth Supplement and Antibiotic – Antimycotic in 37^oC water bath. Gently tilt the tubes several times to ensure the contents are completely mixed before adding to the medium. In a sterile field, add Fetal Bovine Serum, Growth Supplement and Antibiotic – Antimycotic to the medium and mix well. The reconstituted medium is stable for one month in 4^oC and up to a year in -20^oC with minimal exposure to light.
